Differential Equations Stations Activity Task Cards:
Use this activity as an end-unit review for Differential Equations. The concepts will help your students work through the rules for differential equations. There are both Color and Black-and-White task card sets.
There are 11 question stems in the activity that cover:
โ writing differential equations
โ finding prinicpal money invested at given rates
โ solving differential equations for direct proportionality
โ finding constant of proportionality
โ calculating half-life for radioactive elements
โ bacterial growth
โ calculating volumes that leak from containers at a proportional rate
โ Newton’s Law of Cooling
โ Half-Life problems to determine decay time
โ Finding position function from acceleration
โ Exponential growth of a population
You can use the set as a group rotation activity for 2-4 per group or as a review activity prior to assessing students on the unit.
