Description
This Basic Derivatives Halloween-themed Activity is designed to help your APยฎ Calculus students review key concepts for the topics in Unit 2 Derivative Rules. There are 16 cards in the set along with a student recording sheet for this self-checking scavenger hunt.
Students should work cooperatively, without the aid of a graphing calculator. Each task card will cover the topics for differentiation using the Power Rule, Product Rule and Quotient Rule.
Teaching Suggestions:
— Use the scavenger hunt cards as a group activity.
— Use the activity as a quick review. A student recording sheet is included.
— Have students review for the AP Exam questions of this type at the end of the course.
— Use the card set in a math workshop rotation station.
